Here is why you should always smile..

You have a rough week at work, deadlines to meet, projects hanging, workmates you just cant stand, crazy working hours and probably very little pay to show for it. Atleast you have something to do and somewhere to go to each new day you wake up, smile.

It rained heavily the previous day but its shining today. You decide to put on this lovely white dress that is perfect for a sunny friday and compliment it with adorable heels. Your morning seems promising until you meet this crazy 'devil' ten minutes to your work place. He/she drives past you splashing dirty water all over your dress and face and ofcourse doesnt stop to apologize or atleast slow down to acknowledge it. Smile sister, the car did not hit you. You'll still make it to work alive.

Your car breaks down in the middle of a hectic traffic jam. You dont even know exactly where the betry is and ofcourse the crazy touts dont even notice the Learner sign..they just wunt spare you. All the hooting and insults make you want to explode. Well thats tough, sorry, but hey at the end of the day you have to smile..you have a CAR! 

You study so hard in school waking up at crazy hours to do all the assignments, and struggle with exams. Four, five or six years down the line you only have a D, a PASS or the last grade whichever to show for it. You have many reasons to smile. You made it through school, you are wiser now, you have a certificate that can take you somewhere and the best bit about it all is that school is finally over you can pursue your other passion.


All along you have this bunch of friends you cant stay without. They make you laugh and take you places. In short you feel incomplete without him/her/them. Suddenly it turns out they are all fakers, either they have been pretending all along or they found better friends now they treat you as they wish. That is no place for you my dear walk and never turn back. You still need your smile though because from there henceforth you can learn to be your own bestfriend or stick around people who deserve it. Better still the world is so big! Go on and make some new friends, just be wiser this time.


You invest your time,energy and money in a business venture or whatever it is but after several months or years it downs on you that its never going to work. It has been one loss after the other as far as you can remember. Stop right there and think through it. Everything is'nt ment to work out so dont hold on blindly. Make a U turn, take a break and relax just enjoy life. You probably are taking so much time away from your friends and family and you dont notice it. Buy some flowers for your wife and sweets for your kids and go home early today. Put on that broad smile that made her fall for you five years ago. Do not forget that there are more precious things in life than chasing after money and dreams.

You have a reason to smile and stay positive. There is very little time for us here on earth so dont waste it frowning at things that probably dont matter. whichever the scenario, find that small smilling corner.

MY LIFE IN CAMPUS {PART 1/3}

Just like that, it’s over! (Read oveeeeeeeeer!). Honestly it does not feel like five years are gone already. Time sure flies. I still remember how young, fragile and innocent I was when I walked into Stella Awinja hostel for my first year in campus. I would say I was mature and responsible though, I brought myself to campus most people don’t.   Then papa came to check on me later and brought my luggage and I remember him questioning the custodians why I had to share a room with five other ladies yet the forms clearly stated sharing two. Best daddy ever, he cared enough to know where his daughter was going to live. Sharing a room with five other adorable ladies turned out to be the best thing. The man every woman wants

I am not married, we may say I don't have experience but i definitely know the kind of man every woman wants because I am a woman. Women like feeling special and pampered, it is in us. Those lovely compliments, sincere appreciation and sweet words warm our hearts. Yes we are special for sure hence we deserve to feel equally or more special. When a woman meets that gentleman who makes her feel special than any other person around her, you can be rest assured she will make you feel triple special in return.
