#Birthdaymonththoughts

November babies, it is our time. A whole new year is almost coming to an end, been through a mixture of happiness, sadness, confusion, focus, desire, ambition, tears, bitterness, joy, name them. All these are finally ushering in a new year, thanks to The Almighty God above. Have you ever sat in a quiet place and wondered at all that happens and life keeps moving forward? So much goes on around and with us in the course of life that when you think about it, it is indeed overwhelming.

I had some quiet moments today and thought of the 224 perished souls in the plane crush that occurred in Egypt. Lives lost as young as a several months old baby and as old as a 77 years old granny. My heart surely sank. I am sad for these very many dreams, very many ambitions, and moments lost within a short period of time, unpredicted, unseen yet it happened. Then I searched my soul and thought this could be Kenya, America, Philippines, France wherever. People die every day, every minute; sad as it sounds it is the reality. It makes me fear and makes me realize how helpless and powerless I am as a human being. The weakest moment to any living creature would be the point of death.

It is ironic that it is my birthday month yet I am here all sad and emotional thinking about death. So I sort out a solution. I strongly believe every problem under the sun has got to have a solution. Whether we run to the rocks, down into valleys, up on top of mountains, deep in the seas or under your mother’s arms, death is here to stay and it will meet all of us, sad as it sounds. So we all got to find a way out to save ourselves. The only way is to run to God. From God we came, from God we shall return. It is my prayer that in one way or the other we all seek to be right with God through Jesus Christ. That in one way or the other we may all acknowledge the power of God and believe in him because with him life is everlasting. Who does not want to live forever? None, at least not me.

I pray that none of us shall die before they fulfill their purpose for which they were created for. None of our prayers and wishes shall go unanswered according to Gods own will. That each day of our lives we may seek to achieve, gain, love, bless, inspire, forgive but not curse, dismiss, hate, lose or discourage. This is my prayer for the month, to all who are believers and all who seek to be right with God, it is never too late and God does not want a perfect us, He wants us just the way we are.

So fellow November babies, there we have something to make a resolution about. Be the best you can be, live every moment like it is never going to come again and above all put God first. May God’s blessings reign upon us in our path, Amen.
