Three points a christian should not miss(sunday sermon)

Happy Sunday loved ones.

Today was one of those Sundays I went to church and came out a changed or lets say a better christian. It does not happen always but the point of going to church in the first place is to listen to God's word and be a better person than what you were before. Allow me to share the three major things i picked from today's sermon hoping you too will be a better individual. The sermon was from the book of Acts chapter 10.

Prejudice
As a christian there is no room for prejudice in our lives. Never allow yourself to feel better than any other person, race, tribe, culture, class etc. We were all saved by the same blood of Jesus Christ on the cross. He came for all of us regardless of how rich, poor, smart, light, dark or whatever else we are. Any christian who discriminates/looks down upon another human being should therefore examine the grounds upon which they claim to be christian. 

The gospel
Our basis and weapon as a christian is the bible. There is no way we can answer a question or respond to a situation without the knowledge of the bible. We therefore need to push ourselves and read it. We can never find unless we seek and the best place to seek God's word is in the bible.

Mission 
Have you ever felt the need to share God's word with anyone? Maybe you have maybe you haven't. If you have you probably got afraid of how will they take it, what will they say and how will it go. Worry not because by the time God planted the desire in you, He already prepared the receiver of the word. Just like He prepared Simon for Cornelius according to Acts 10, He will prepare the person you are supposed to minister to.

MY LIFE IN CAMPUS {PART 1/3}

Just like that, it’s over! (Read oveeeeeeeeer!). Honestly it does not feel like five years are gone already. Time sure flies. I still remember how young, fragile and innocent I was when I walked into Stella Awinja hostel for my first year in campus. I would say I was mature and responsible though, I brought myself to campus most people don’t.   Then papa came to check on me later and brought my luggage and I remember him questioning the custodians why I had to share a room with five other ladies yet the forms clearly stated sharing two. Best daddy ever, he cared enough to know where his daughter was going to live. Sharing a room with five other adorable ladies turned out to be the best thing. I made friends that will forever remain my friends both in their presence and absence. The many Luhyia songs and ohangla dances done in that room, sweet old memories. The man every woman wants

I am not married, we may say I don't have experience but i definitely know the kind of man every woman wants because I am a woman. Women like feeling special and pampered, it is in us. Those lovely compliments, sincere appreciation and sweet words warm our hearts. Yes we are special for sure hence we deserve to feel equally or more special. When a woman meets that gentleman who makes her feel special than any other person around her, you can be rest assured she will make you feel triple special in return.
