Perfect childhood reminder
Once upon a time, I was a little girl in primary school with big dreams. I wanted to become someone important in future and this dream woke me up every single day. From Lukhokwe primary school to Lugulu boarding primary school to The Kenya High school all the way to University of Nairobi there has always been a silent sometimes spoken dream in me. The urge to make it in life, to be the change I want to be, make my parents proud, to stand out and to be a leader in my own way has never left my side. I feel like I am on the right track especially after landing my first attachment after campus with CCRP (Collaborative Crop Research Program). This is the perfect first time job for me, all other factors aside; it takes me back to where my dreams started (primary school) and how I grew up (with farmers).
