MY WALK IS STILL WORTHWHILE (From my archives)

I fall, I rise, I make mistakes, I hurt people, I get hurt, I am loved by many and perhaps hated by a few, I worry and judge as much as am judged and that makes me human. In my world perfection has never existed, it never will. I struggle with forgiveness, righteousness, gratitude, success, moods, name it each with its own magnitude. I still believe despite my short coming, challenges faced and those yet to come, the right and the wrong decisions I have/I will make, the tears I have shed and the tears people have shed for me, my walk is still worthwhile. I don't deserve it, I probably never will but when you serve a mighty God He gives you second chances and the work he started in you, He will bring to completion. Life goes on until it is over, six feet under. Until then I shall fight my battles, accept success and failure alike and live to fight another day. I shall get the strength to rise up after every fall and pursue my dreams a day at a time because I realize I have t...

NEVER TOO LATE (From my archives)

It is never too late to make the right decisions in life. They say ones beaten twice shy but sometimes people are beaten severally to actually take up a lifetime lesson.     The determination to do things differently is never in vain. If something inside you tells you you can actually make it better or change how things are, pursue that desire. It is the inner desire that pushes us to go for goals and visions. Nothing is too difficult to crack especially things that people have gone through and past like education, principles to live by, targets to reach etc.You are not people but that is proof that whatever it is there is a way out.      It starts with a desire, decision, a plan and actualizing it practicall...

Left to right

I look at life from the left to right perspective. From rags to riches, illiteracy to literacy, sadness to joy, young to old, immature to mature etc. Most of us start from the left side characterized by most undesired traits. There is nothing wrong with being on the left side as long as we are moving towards the right side. Growth, everyday growth should be our personal drive. Moving from one side to the other is never a walk in the park. We just don't wake up and get rich suddenly, it rarely happens. Every good trait takes hard work. Hard work also means not giving up when the going gets tough. You have to fight and keep fighting and remember why you started the fight in the first place. If the reason is worth it and the end product you desire fully, you just have to work a little harder. Moving from left to right is first of all a choice. A choice you have to make everyday. A slight mistake may land you right back to the beginning but if the course is worth it, get up and keep ...
